Nolan: Has been celebrating Spirit Week!
Nora: Has been really busy she is: reading and doing artwork, she’s completed all of the scholastic news worksheets, she has been doing science experiments and Kiwi Crate kits, and she is determined to teach herself how to play the mandolin.
Silas: Has been having a great time working on his Grandparent Interview and his timeline.
Margot: has been busy working on projects with her new Green Screen! Check out this video....
John: Is working hard on counting money! John is also writing about space.
Liam: has been keeping busy. He is following a weekday schedule to get everything in. In the pictures he is helping sister Daisy find and label 10 yellow things in our house. He created the Mini's Question Mark. Liam added important foods to grocery list. He is doing thermometer readings & weather observations. He finding time to reading and add to his Subway Learning book, and making safety signs. Liam continues to be fascinated by Rock-fish.
Margot: did the black pepper and soap experiment. After that they tried it with hand sanitizer instead of soap. What do you think happened?
Elena: has been writing a poem about chocolate cake.
John: has been painting a page from his book. He is also writing about unicorns. He is learning about constellations, light pollution and doing some cooking.
Silas: has been busy doing the Down Dog app for gym/recess. This week he plans to work on his Timeline Project. He also shared a picture of the book he wrote.
Nolan: Here's some of Nolan's nature photography, showing off his birthday shirt and his #7 rice crispy treat, as well as the 2D and 3D geometric shapes they made with toothpicks and marshmallows.
Timmy: has been busy with many exciting activities with his family. He has been doing paper mache projects. He also did this cool science experiment with his grandmother and his sister.
Ronan: has been playing with his cat and his brother. He also created an wonderful schedule (with fun stickers) of activities to keep him busy.
Silas: shared a exciting story that he wrote. He read it to us on our Zoom Chat and everyone loved it. He was also able to catch a leprechaun with his trap. He got the leprechaun's hat and gum!!
Ms. Gibson: It has been a little hard getting used to this new routine. I have been spending a lot of time with Oliver (my cat). I have also been going on a lot of walks by the lake. I have really enjoyed keeping in contact with friends in family. I can't wait to see everyone again soon. I hoping some of you can join us on Zoom at 10:00 tomorrow for a video chat!!!
Ms. S: I miss seeing all of our students and seeing the other teachers! It is hard to be inside for most of the day sometimes. I have been taking a lot of walks, cleaning up my apartment, and FaceTiming with my friends and family back home in New Jersey and New York. I have also been spending lots of time with my cat, Barry, and trying to get him to exercise. I can't wait to see everyone on our Zoom call in the morning!!!
